Knowth is the largest of the known neolithic passage graves that can be found within the Brú na Bóinne complex. The site consists of one large mound and 17 smaller satellite tombs. Unlike, it's more well-known sister site, Newgrange, the passage tomb at Knowth has two passages, both of which lead to separate burial chambers. It also contains more than a third of the total number of examples of megalithic art in all of Western Europe.
